The festival takes place this August 25th – 27th 2017 at the Covelong Point Social Surf School in Kovalam village near Chennai, Tamil Nadu – India’s first surfing village and a hub of surf culture in South India.
Featuring a national and international level surf competition, a global music lineup spread across three stages, yoga and meditation classes and alternative healing workshops – the annual event attracts thousands of attendees every year from across India and around the globe.
The event also features a vibrant flea market, food stalls, art installations and beach side activities.

Bus Services: Starting from Chennai Bus Depot – buses 109, 119, 599 to Mamalapuram pass Kovalam village cricket ground. 10 min walk to the festival ground from Cricket ground
Parking will be available around the festival premises on the cricket grounds – follow the signs to the parking lot. There will be a small parking fee, and autos will be ferrying passengers to and from the festival grounds. Alternately, the festival is a short 10 minute walk from the parking area.
We have tie ups with a few hotels located near the festival premises, offering special festival rates for different budgets.
