Kali Veerapathiran

Kali has completed his post graduation at Kalakshetra Foundation, Chennai and became a freelance dancer.

He lost his father at a very young age and his mother worked hard to raise him and provide him an education. After school he mastered three ancient folk dances of Tamil Nadu (Tappatham, Oyilatam, and Karagaatam) from Mr.Kannan Kumar at Dakshina Chitra during the summer vacation.

Soon after, he gained admission into Kalakshetra, for a four year Diploma and 2 years post diploma in Bharata Natyam. He graduated with a first class.

He performed in several places in India and abroad, with the Kalakshetra repertory company in Singapore, Malaysia, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Pune, Delhi, Bangalore and Tamil Nadu. He was awarded many times, and participated in TV dance shows.
